Abigail's Confirmation

Yesterday we were invited to Abi's Confirmation (as honorary Grandparents, bless her). So I made this card:
I used:

- 7" x 5" white card stock

- silver mirri card

- pale mauve pearlescent card, embossed using a Sizzix folder called 'Corner, Flower Vine'

- a simple cross, stamped using a stamp bought especially in Hobby Lobby with our friend Kay when we were in Santa Fe recently. It's called 'Small Flourish Cross' by Paper Inspirations, and is embossed, using silver embossing powder, before being die cut with an oval Nestie

- narrow pure white guipure lace just added underneath the edge round the oval and some little pure white pearls in the top right corner

I had added this verse, found on the internet, to the insert:

Believe in God,
believe in yourself,
and always follow your dreams -
for someone as gifted as you
can create a world
of beautiful tomorrows

Len and I were so moved and very proud of her yesterday. For a young lady with more health issues than I write about here, she really does deserve the chance to follow her dreams :)
