Sunday Snippets - Bee Happy

Another Temu sticker card folks:

I used:

- A6 off-white Papermania Tri Fold Window Photo Aperture card, side opening

- I had a set of cute little bee stickers from Temu, so I used  one of those and followed my usual way, see recent posts, of making a 'sticker in an aperture' card - except that this time I omitted the vellum and double sided sticky paper as the sticker had a clear margin around the image outline so no issues with pulling off excess protective film from the front of the image. My snippet is the little piece of pale ivory card I used behind the sticker

- stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair ink 'Nocturne' and a sentiment stamp from a Hunkydory 'For the Love of Stamps' set called 'Bees and Butterflies'

- the finishing touch was to add a few Altenew pale yellow enamelled dots beside the sentiment

It can be difficult to distinguish which stickers have a clear margin and which don't over on Temu photos. All I can suggest is that you read the descriptions carefully , look for UV DST plus the finish noted as glossy or semi-glossy, although that finish detail isn't always included. The bottom line is that if you seem to be getting a lot of stickers for your money, chances are that they will have clear edges. They still are good and have their place - albeit not as 'finished' looking as stickers without the clear edges. I think you pay your money and take a chance.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

- Allsorts Challenge #859 - HERE - under 'Anything Goes'

- Darnell's NBUS Challenge #91 HERE - the set of Temu bee stickers were having a first outing

The results from Sarn's Challenge #541 are now published in the Snippets Playground HERE.

Dudley Pupdate: Dudley has been in his element this week! The gardens had their Autumn pruning and tidy up early in the week. Since then, despite rigorous cleaning by the gardening team, Dudley has tried to bring every missed fragment of leaf he can find on the ground into the house - neatly swept up by his hair! Yup, Havanese pooches have hair not fur. Its been little a little paper trail of leafy bits at times. He certainly looks like a kid who's been out playing and getting messed up without a care in the world.

A far cry from this photo below, which is one of his most regal ones, taken in May 2019 in the days before a puppy cut became a much more practical option:

There's still a week left in my current Snippets Challenge if you haven't already joined in!

Love as always, Dudley and yours truly,
