Less is More recipe - 3-2-1

This week's challenge over at Less is More is a recipe 3-2-1. Must admit I struggled with a card for last week's LIM 'tearing' theme - I'm a 'cut it crisp' gal and sorry, it just wasn't for me. I did try - but it looked as if a couple of dogs had been fighting over some Core'dinations card in here :(

However, I really enjoyed this week's challenge - just hope I got the 3-2-1 business right:
My 3 is 3 flowers, 2 is 2 words and 1 is the little gem above the letter i in the sentiment. Snigger, another take could be 1 gem, 2 stamps (the flowers are all on the same stamp so that would be the sentiment and the image) and 3 colours, green, grey and pink. Take yer pick - although I did make the card with the first option in mind.

I used:

- 6" x 6" square white card stock

- a strip of SU Certainly Celery card from the snippets folder (waaaah, almost out of this but it's on the list for my next SU order Sarn such a lovely colour and soooo useful)

- image and sentiment were both stamped onto white card using Memento 'London Fog', although the stems of the flowers were inked with SU 'Certainly Celery' at the same time. Flowers were just coloured with a couple of lilac-pink Pro Markers

- image is from an Autumn Leaves set called 'Flowers' by Rhonna Farrer, sentiment is from SU's 'Sincere Salutations' set

- a little KanBan lilac-pink gem above the sentiment, of course the colour doesn't show up well in the photo :( .

Et voila, all done.

  7. I really like that idea of the 3-2-1. You could apply that to many different sorts of cards, couldn't you?? It's good sometimes to have a brief to stick too!

Your 3-2-1 card is very sweet. Love the 1 gem! Good luck on the blogaversary drawing. The bucket is filling. Have a crafty week!
