Helen Keller

......was one of my great heroines as a young girl. This quote of hers is so moving:

Death is no more than passing from one room into another. But there's a difference for me, you know. Because in that other room I shall be able to see.

An amazing and inspirational lady. So, when I spotted that some newly acquired Stickeroos had another quote of hers on, I made this:
 I used:

- 7" x 5" cream card stock

- Penny Black Stickeroos from the 'Unfolding' set

- green SU card from the snippets folder

- snippets of aubergine ribbon

I have my profound head on today but Friday Feast will follow - so get those saucepans ready :) Actually, just one pan and a baking dish for a special lasagne.

  1. Such a moving quote Di, I remember the film about her story and how much she had to overcome, had a big impact on me even though I was young. Love the colours in this card, really refreshing too. Hugs, Amanda x

  2. A truly inspirational lady....I guess all of us of a certain age will remember her well. A gorgeous card too Di.
