Quick Tuesday Tale

Kath strikes again! She is one of the World's innocents, I've written about her here before when she went to the docs worried about her eyesight and he suggested she took her specs off before using hairspray - once he'd held the glasses up the the light :)

One of her latest was to troll into town for a DVD which was on a wish list as a gift - no luck though. Then she told another friend of mine who offered to look for it on Amazon UK - when asked what the title was Kath's response was:

'Scumbag Billionaire'.

Bless - no wonder the shop assistant looked at her as if she was a bit weird :)

  1. Hehehe brilliant. Sounds like my sort of gal.

  2. Hi Di,

Tee hee. I haven't been here for Tuesday Tales in a while and I miss it. The glasses and the hairspray is priceless. We all needs friends like Kath.

By the way, Slumdog Millionaire was a great movie!

    (I sent you an email.)

  3. How old is she!!....lol easily mistaken l suppose Di, xx

  4. Hee Hee! Is she the same person who you see when you look in the mirror!!
    LOL xx

  5. Should you be writing funnies with your bad back!!!!!! Hugs Mrs A.

  6. Oh dear...I am afraid that I am a bit like your friend. I just got new glasses for the first time in over 20 years...I was wearing contacts and having them updated with eye tests etc...but switching back to glasses has allowed my vision to be corrected so much better.
I am shocked at how much clearer I can see...no wonder my friend was always teasing me!

  7. Your story is soooo funny! You make me laugh....your mind must always be thinking...I hope you are writing a book...you should be!

  8. You crack me up - I laughed out loud when I read about your friend - especially the bit about her glasses. Mine are always a tad mucky and hubby is always having a go at me. LOL.

    Hugs Sue P xx

  9. that is way funny!!!

when we were young, my mum sent my sister to the shop for some of those Taxi chocolate biscuits... she came back and said they didn't have any. She sent me then to look for something. I came back with the Taxi's... it turned out that she went over (it was literally across the road from our house) and asked for 'Police Cars'...

  10. Priceless! I bet there's never a dull moment with a friend like Kath :) Elizabeth xx
