A Rudolph Day card

In between the sunshine calling to me, I managed to make my card yesterday for Sandra's Rudolph Day Challenge:
It's another PSX Christmas sticker one, I'm quite hooked on these (sent by Irene - thank you!)  and Penny Black Stickaroos for fast and easy images :)

I used:

- 6" x 6" square white card stock

- plain white and green card from the snippets folder

- PSX sticker, I think it's a Red Cardinal birdie - such glorious colours too

- backing paper from Jennifer Ellory's Berry Merry Christmas papers, free with Card Making and Papercraft magazine

- red organza ribbon from the ribbon box

- sentiment by Craftwork Cards

- Josy Rose nail heads - I'm so in love with these, brilliant for just adding a touch to squared off corners without messing round with corner punches, thoroughly recommend them :)

One more card for the Christmas card box - why not join in - it'll help to avoid the last minute panic plus Sandra has a little giveaway too. What's to lose?

  5. Fabulous Rudolph Day card - love the red cardinal and wish they visited my garden. I'm now feeling incredibly guilty ... I've really been slacking on the snippet front and think I really must press the 'go' button today even though it's a gloriously sunny day outside ... it's so tempting me out of doors :)) Elizabeth x

  13. What a beautiful cardinal card. We have a cardinal that visits our feeder from time to time. Man, those are some twitchy birds. I need to do this Rudolph challenge so I'll be ahead of the game for once. The world might end though so maybe I won't. I mean that as in if I am ahead of the game that will cause the world to implode, not that I'm thinking those Myans had it right and we'll call it curtains come December 12.

  14. Stunning Di!!! I love your beautiful robin and gorgeous DP paper. I can't wait for the robins to arrive. They are very territorial and will attack if you venture into their space when nesting but I love them anyway. Of course we need some sunny weather before they'll show up.

  16. I love those stickers too. My 'home' shop when I lived in UK had reels and reels of them, so I stocked up before I left, but I haven't used one for ages. It is time I gave them an airing. I love your card. It's good to be back. Kate x
