Another Christmas card - is this woman mad?

I know, I know - folk prancing round in skimpy tops, shorts and flip flops in the Post Office yesterday (and that was just the chaps!) and Dumbo here makes another Christmas card in the early hours of this morning. Thanks for waking me up Mr Blackbird :)

I used:

- 4.5" x 4.5" square cream card

- a chopped down Christmas card from last year

- backing papers and gold card from the snippets folder

- small piece of gold lurex ribbon from the ribbon box, tied in a bow

This card is for two challenges. Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge (which is to use a house, door, window or such on your Christmas card this week - snort, I threw in a garden gate and pair of boots for luck!). And, a third card for Sandra's Rudolph Day Challenge, you could still join in both challenges if you're quick!

Yay, it's Friday, and the weekend beckons :)

  3. You are in the Christmas spirit this month. Still there are worse things to wake up to than the song of the blackbird. Good use of a recycled card Di. Kate x

  7. I think making a Christmas card is a really good antidote to a hot day! Thanks for the link to the stamps too btw, shame if they've really discontinued it.

  8. Lovely Christmas card Di, it makes me glad of the sun shining as that snow looks very chilly.

The birds wake me early but l'm lazy as l enjoy lying in bed listening rather than using the time productively to craft!

Have a good weekend, Rach xx

  9. Great card - love that you've recycled a card. Well, you've gone and done it now, I couldn't resist and had to go look on the HH site for PB Stickaroos and, well, my hand kind of slipped on the keys and before I knew it I'd ordered one or two sheets, or maybe it was three or four ... whatever, I've succumbed and you're entirely to blame :) Can't wait for them to arrive :)) Elizabeth x

  13. Another really lovely Christmas card, really looks super and I wouldn't have know it was a cut down image.
I don't think you are mad, while you are in the mood to make Christmas cards, then carry on till you are not as whenit comes round to the time you should be making them it becomes a toil of a pleasure.
