Another Temu sticker card folks:
I used:
- A6 white 'Stella Weds' Tri Fold Window Aperture card, side opening- from Amazon UK
- I had a really sweet set of duck stickers from Temu, so I used one of those and followed my usual way, see recent posts, of making a 'sticker in an aperture' card. My snippets are the pieces of vellum and white card I used to pop the ducky on - so cute!
- the finishing touch was to add a teeny die cut 'hello' into the top left of the image panel. Die cut from a snippet of 'Honey Gold' satin mirror card using a die from a much loved Sizzix 'Winter Wishes' set of dies
- finished!
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
- Allsorts Challenge #859 - HERE - under 'Anything Goes'
- Darnell's NBUS Challenge #91 HERE - the set of Temu duck stickers were having a first outing
The results from Sarn's Challenge #543 are now published in the Snippets Playground HERE.
Dudley Pupdate: It's been a bit of a week for Dudley here. Len has had two cutting sessions with him - and still a little bit of fine tuning to do. Partly as on Thursday we woke up to one very forlorn pooch, not wanting to move and when he did he was waving a front paw and hopping along on three legs. A quick check that his legs were fine showed, that it was likely to be a claw he'd caught so Len clipped them right down and by the afternoon he was fine again. He WILL go trying to dig his way through our bedroom carpet just before settling down for the night so most probably pulled or twisted a claw. He only flinched if that paw was touched, otherwise he was valiantly trying not to make a fuss. The whole time Len was clipping his claws he sat quietly just licking Len in appreciation. Normally it would be like fighting ten rounds with Attila the Hun!
Jenny came to clean the house on Friday and I did wonder if she'd be horrified at the little scrap who greeted her at the door. Far from it - and we all agreed that he looks cuter than ever, albeit so tiny. It will grow quickly and thankfully my arm is now OK to get back to regularly deep brushing and combing Dudley. On Thursday this coming week, Jenny's first task when she gets here is to bath Dudley - ha, that might test his absolute adoration of her. 😉 And then carry on by next cleaning/drying the main bathroom first. I keep on pinching myself that we found a real little Mary Poppins after such a long search.
There's still a week left in my current Snippets Challenge if you haven't already joined in!
Love as always, Dudley and yours truly,
