Triple stamping - first play

Hmmm, I think I was better at the triple jump, but this was a first try:
I used:

- 6" x 5" white card stock

- white card for stamping on

- SU 'Certainly Celery' card

- stamp set called 'Flowers - by Rhonna Farrer' made by Autumn Leaves

- SU ink pads in 'Certainly Celery' and 'Rich Razzleberry'

- sentiment by Stampendous from the 'Happy Messages' set, stamped using Memento 'Tuxedo Black'

- a snippet of green grosgrain ribbon

This was such fun to make, thanks to Sarn for showing on her blog earlier this week.

Ack, then I hit problems properly lining the things up - totally my fault trying to rush so I ended up doing some trimming round the outside edge of the bottom layer of 'Certainly Celery' - BIG mistake :( But it really is such a great technique if you don't have a squint in one eye :)) Nip over to Sarn's if you want to see one properly done!

  1. Love the technique, have never tried it but it is lovely isn't it. Your card looks fine to me and I think it is wonderful!

  2. Gorgeous card, love the technique.
Stamped flowers are great and choice of colours stunning!
    Hugs Tamara :)

  3. Looks great...I think this is a wonderful technique. i would never know about any extra trimming if you hadn't shared...All i see is a fab card with an equally fab technique!

Now I want to try this too:)

  4. I'm still chuckling at you being better at the tripple jump....give me card making any day Di :-)
I love your card [ but of course not being a green lover I have to say would look better in blue :-) ]

  10. Brilliant technique and I can quite see why you wanted to give it a bash, Di. I think it must take some concentration to get each layer stamped just right. The stamping is gorgeous - love the colours. Hugs, Elizabeth xx
