'Little Gem' for Less is More

My very first win after I began blogging was a really cute little stamp that I got to choose from 'Pink Gem Designs' - and, naughty girl that I am, this is its first outing:

It's for this week's Less is More Challenge which has the theme of cats and/or dogs.

I used:

- 6" x 6" white square card stock

- stamped image by Pink Gem Designs called 'Little Gem in Love', with some minimal colouring and a googly eye picked out as the little black bead is stuck in one place inside the dome - much to my delight it makes him look as if he's peering up at someone :)

- SU 'Riding Hood Red' card stock

- sentiment from the Hero Arts 'Good Friends' set, stamped in Memento 'Tuxedo Black'

Anyone who knows me will also know I adore dogs, and still miss Benjie and Dougal (two adorable little Bichon Frises) loads - all these years later. This sweet little image has the look I'd get if I so much as rustled a cheese wrapper or chopped carrots in the kitchen - that always brought the patter of little paws.

One day, one day :)

  1. It's gorgeous Di and such a cute stamp! Ours knows when DH takes the cheese from the fridge and always appears when carrots or celery are being chopped! They really do steal a little bit of your heart don't they Karen x

  2. I'm so glad I'm not the only scofflaw with old stamps that still have not been inked, Di! In this case, your stamp is SO adorable, that perhaps you didn't use it until you were ready. The way you used it now, with that sentiment, is sweet and perfect!!

  13. This is sooooo cutie Di! And how naughty are you that you did not use it until now!
That is almost like Dobby at the end of his epic walk on Sunday! Only I did not have chance to make his bandana so I put ribbons on his collar which he lost along the way! Pink grossgrain too!
