A little bit of music

Quite a quick card today - thanks to good ole Penny Black Stickeroos once again:
I used:

- 6" x 6" square card stock

- backing paper/card from Bo Bunny's 'et cetera' collection - some lovely papers in this pad, and (don't ask me why) the music was deliberately printed at a slant, plus there's the impression that the page has been repaired with a little strip of tape at the top

- Penny Black Stickeroo from the 'April in Paris' sheet with a couple of extra butterflies and a little strip across a couple of the corners (I might peel those off, the Jury is still out here) - also from the same sheet

- snippet of aubergine organza ribbon, tied in a bow

Super fast card, it's roll call day today - and do remember that if you want a chance to win a set of Pro Markers make sure you leave a comment on last Sunday's posting before noon today to say so please :)

  1. Lovely card, would never know it was a 'sticker card'. You do those beautifully. Just passed some time reading your blog stories, drooling over your Ploughman Pasties. (You Brits have the neatest names for things! Made me quite hungry). Enjoyed tremendously the Lassie story. Shades of James Herriot. Thanks for an entertaining read this evening...All cards very much liked and you did them so well. TFS.

  2. Methinks I'm going to have to invest in some of these ere smackeroos. Do you think Wimpey would understand the concept of 'Doing porridge' means bread and water for the conceiveable future!!!!!
p.s Got the plumber coming at 9am this morning to do a boiler service. The boiler being siutuated above the washing machine that Wimpey lives behind for safety reasons!!!!! Could be in for a nasty shock. Both of em!!

  5. It's 12.20pm and Wimpey is still hiding behind the pile of boxes in the shed. No amount of enticement with a second breakfast and a copious bowl of porridge have managed to lure him out. The plumber drew a black cross on the curb stone as he left wonder why!!!!! Hugs Mrs A.
P.s postman just left a huge parcel, tore it open expecting me stamps but it wass just boring old shrink plastic and rolls of double sided sticky tape.

  12. Brilliant card Di, love it, goes great with the papers but I could do without the butterflies.
You seem to have a good collection of stickeroo's and a heck of a lot that I haven't got, where did you get them from as I have mostly got mine from the Glitter Pot and they haven't got any new ones lately, or a lot of the ones you have.
Unless they don't put them all on the web site.
