WOYWW - 143

I had to take these piccies yesterday as today is a trip out with a friend. Sensible stuff at Costco in Reading first - before we hit The Range, where I suspect any common sense will be abandoned at the entrance :)
Just finished die cutting a load of white and coloured card for Helena - there are only 36 sets of white toppers for stamping and colouring her own images, and the scalloped backings to go with them., but they took a little while and kept me out of mischief. The card backed envelope to post them off in is at the back of the desk, usual cup of coffee plus a duster brush I've promised to someone. Kinda orderly isn't it? OK, take a breath and eyes smartly to the right:
Yup, it's the 'push it to the right' area - desperately in need of sorting out before it takes over, or even worse, falls over!

To see what everyone else has on their desk, dining room table, floor, bed,  kitchen worktops, ironing board etc. - just hop over to Julia's who hosts our weekly snoop on What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday! I promise that you'll see loads more mess there and on other blogs than I can show you - but it's all 'fun mess' and really worth a nose. And the ladders have claimed a victim over at Julia's too!

Happy WOYWW!

  1. Wow, it you hadn't panned to the right that would have been one tidy desk. Still a lot tidier than mine though lol. Have you finished the stamp storage? Hugs, Amanda X

  7. Enjoy your crafty shopping. The 'push to the right' looks tidy and organised, so nothing to worry about and you have lots of room still in which to craft. Well done for doing all the die cuts (Hazel, WOYWW #5) x

  16. Your desk is in need of therapy as it obviously has a split personality. Prescription - craft more and mess the whole lot up.
    Happy WOYWW.

  17. Even the push it to the right area looks organised, Di. You look very industrious there. I'm really loving inking with those duster brushes at the moment. They give a lovely soft effect don't they. I hope the new owner loves it.
    Enjoy your shopping trip.

  18. Where oh where would we crafters be without pushes to the right or left or even both ... then there is the chair beside you and the cupboard behind you ... oh, and that shelf just there and if I really stretch I can reach that unit over there! Happy WOYWWing. Debbie #89

  19. I spy with my little eye.....duster brush :o) Hope you had a wonderful day shopping. Your 'untidy' desk is amazingly tidy compared with my 'tidy' desk, lol, did that make sense?? Take care, Lyn x

  20. That was quite a cutting session Di. My 'put away' tray is far worse than your 'bit to the right', but goodness knows when I shall tackle that. I've kind of tucked it away for now so I don't have to look at it whale I make some cards, but it will have to be done soon. Kate x

  23. Very smart and tidy and organised centre desk but even with eyes right, mine is still far worse but a little better today as I had a panic moment yesterday as I couldn't find loads of stuff.

  24. Hello Di, I've not posted on WOYWW today - I've been a bit off-colour for a couple of days - but thought I'd pop in nonetheless to see what you are up to ... okay, to snoop round your desk. Lots of lovely die-cut shapes. Hope you had a great day out and look forward to seeing what tempted you at Ranger. Elizabeth x

  29. Left, I say...keep left! Repeat this 30 x while panning the camera!

The cards dies look interesting...what will they be made up into?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Well, your right swing photo looks like my office desk and I don't bother with that!! How nice of you to spend time cutting and matching so many toppers for your chum. Now look, as you are practically on my doorstep, why don't we have coffee and a wobble round your (and mine) local hobby craft????

  31. I tend to 'push it' too, but mine is to the left lol!! I hope you had a good trip out yesterday Di.

Have a great WOYWW and a fab week, Luv Karen xx

  32. I was very concerned about your mental health until you had us pan to the right. Ah! All is well on the playground. And I don't think the piles are too bad yet. They aren't teetering over to one side and mice haven't moved it yet.... Lots of die cutting fun going on at your place. I think I'd get distracted before getting through 36 of them.

  33. well its still a tidy pile on your right,am sure your friend will appreciate the diecuts,x

    ReplyDelete
  34. Even the push it to the right pile is still remarkably tidy and organised. Glad to see you restrained yourself at the Range on your dangerous visit there. See you in the playground. xx Maggie #9
