You know too much

I just love the sentiment on this card:
When Len saw it he looked puzzled though, I think it's a man thing as they don't really share with their buddies like us girlies do.

I used:

- 6" x 6" square white card stock

- image is a Penny Black Stickeroo from the 'Pond-side Celebration' sheet

- sentiment from the Born to Shop 'Out of Bed' set by Docrafts

- baby pink backing card

- backing paper from Prima's 'Firefly' collection - I almost didn't use the backing paper and made the card very clean and simple but decided that the BP looked a bit like a pond - sort of algae soup :)

- ribbon from the ribbon box

- a few baby pink pearls - am sure they came from Hobbycraft

  8. Totally agree, blokes don't share like us lasses!

God, now you come to mention it, l'd also seen comments by Mrs A with a new picture and it hadn't clicked, l must have the same condition as you. Perhaps it's too much Christmas wine, hic!

  13. Ha! How true is that sentiment! I think the BP is perfect. Pond scum???!! I had a worse day than yours yesterday, forgot my entry badge at work, got a temp from security, kept leaving it on my desk, went to get on the shuttle to go to another building and forgot my laptop so they had to wait while I ran back to get it, finally got to the other building and forgot the data encryption password on my laptop and managed to lock myself out, had to take it to the Helpdesk and get them to fix it! Got back to my own building and realised I'd left the temp badge on my desk again. I was in bed at 8:45 last night, totally wiped out!!

  19. What a cute card!

And total bummer here -- I saw Julia's post about the WOYWW gathering (like I could REALLY make it) and you won't be able to attend.....

Having said that -- house news is bad. The half duplex that I love is under contract. Had one looker at my place and he decided against it. So, if nothing happens by spring maybe I should take a trip....

    Hugs,
    Kay

  20. Welcome to the club. Fabulous card, great sentiment and I understand it totally, funny but I bought a sheet of the frog PB stickeroo's and wasn't at all sure if I'd done the right thing but they are the sheet I ran out of first, if you follow that.

  21. Just love this card. DH is a 'frog' person, so I'm always on the hunt for things Froggy. You did a swell job with this one. So cute, and the sentiment is 'ribbet-ing'. Hugs
