WOYWW - 191

Taken when I trotted back home yesterday after an afternoon crafting with a friend:
Sigh, this is becoming an all too familiar sight, abandoned coffee cup when I dropped everything and ran off to play, basket of cards at the back waiting for inserts and scribbled notes all over.

The flowers were given to me by my crafting friend yesterday afternoon - 90 Kaiser flowers in lovely Christmassy colours (sshhhhh, she doesn't know what she just gave away).

There are a couple of new Clarity stamps ready to be played with, once I face the brayer challenge again, plus a mahoooosive one further back. I almost had the vapours when I saw the size of it but it turns out to either be a wrong code on their website or a wrong pick at dispatch. BUT, how about this for service - when I rang Clarity to speak about it, they said straight away they'd send the correct size out and I should just keep the bigger one! That's what I call getting Brownie points from a happy customer. Particularly as the big stamp would be of interest to others so will be a prize in the Playground sometime :)

OK, that's me for WOYWW - do hop over to Julia's to see what others are up to.

  2. I quite agree about Clarity Stamps, they have always been so very helpful. Excellent customer service, even if you just want a silly question answered. I am sure you could find a good use for that stamp, though.Hope your brayering is going well. Have fun this week. xx Maggie (no number, yet.)

  4. Happy WOYWW Di

Half drank cups are something we have in common, l never see the bottom of my mug!

Excellent customer service, glad it worked out for. Can't say the same here, ordered a new bed for Cal's bedroom, advertised as 190cm long and actually is 213cm!!! Only found out once we'd started putting it together and half erected beds cannot be returned, better get the saw out!

    Have a good day xx

  5. Happy WOYWW. I only have one card waiting for an insert at the moment - which is a clear indication of how little crafting I have done over the past few months (apart from Xmas cards). Must get on and build up a supply again. Ali x #34

  7. Oh I love it when companies do the RIGHT THING!! Yay for you! My crafty "to do" list is so long, I'd have to live at least three lifetimes to complete them all, lol!

    Happy Crafting!

  10. I love the thought of you running away to play with a chum..I have to say that you leave your desk in a better state than I..although I will brag to no empty cups today!! And laugh at your shock at the huge stamp - it's so in your character to use smaller detailed ones...says a lot about you I think! And good for Clarity, just as you want to read of British company!

  12. There's obviously a problem with "pickers" at the minute - my order to Mama Elephant has been shipped to someone else and I have her order on its way to me apparently - they said the same though - I get to keep her 2 sets as well as the two they are sending me :-) I like those kind of errors ;-)

    Happy Brayering

  13. Well done Clarity, not often you get great customer service these days is it? And you've just got rid of a big box of flowers I hear, and now you've got more given to you, lol!! Hope you had a fun play date, do you ever have sleepovers, lol! I'm lazy with my inserts, I tend to do them when I need to send a card.

  14. Isn't "Customer Service" great when there is such a thing! Lucky you and lucky you with those flowers!
You really should clear your coffee cup away when you go out to play - bet you would get a slap from your Mum for that!!

  15. I think that coffe cup made us all smile...bet there is a half empty tea or coffee cup on many desk every day so we can all relate.

I smiled to myself when I noticed that it is quite a large cup...I like taking a really big mug downstairs when I craft. I don't want to have to run back upstairs to make a second cup!
    Mustn't disturb creating!

That large stamp would look great on a scrapbook page or on a canvas...the size would be better then.
Or a card maker could stamp part of it off the page...maybe almost 2/3 of it...teeeheee

Wow...your box of finished card is growing...you have been very productive!

  17. I can just see you running off to play with a chum, Di - skipping, more like :) I have quite a collection of Clarity stamps but nothing quite so big as your tree. So nice of them to say, just keep it - they seem such nice people. Looking forward to your next foray into the art of brayering :) Happy WOYWW and hugs, Elizabeth x #71

  28. Always so nice to hear about good customer service with any business. Great for you that you're getting to keep the old mistake. You inspired me to hunt up my brayer, but my one experiment so far, less than what I want it to be. Never fear, I'll keep brayer to hand, and try again. Love the peaks around on your desk...still looks very tidy to Moi, and you always create something wonderful. TFS

  29. I'm loving that weeping willow stamp. And isn't it nice when a company actually considers customer service a priority. I have to know what company that weeping willow came from - I must have one. :-) April #101
