A card for Bernie

This card is already winging its way across the Atlantic and should almost be there now but I thought I'd publish it here anyhow before it arrives - just to let Bernie know how much we're all thinking of her, if indeed she even feels like looking at blogs right now:
I used:

 - 6" x 6" square white card stock

- Penny Black stamp called 'Love Blush', coloured with Pro Markers and die cut with a blue frame added

 - sentiment by SU from the 'Sincere Salutations' set - stamped with SU 'Bashful Blue'

 - papers by SU, 'Bashful Blue' from the Subtles range - Bernie's favourite colour is blue

 - Martha Stewart PATP straight edged punch from the 'Vintage Lace' set to make the blue lacy strip

 - 'baby blue' organza ribbon from the ribbon box

 - 'baby pink' pearls, probably from Hobbycraft

I've seen how many of you have been over to Bernie's blog to add your positive thoughts and prayers, I'm sure she will be very touched by your love and care.

    A wonderful card, so soft & it is sure to comfort our Blog Buddy to know that we are thinking of her in this latest Life's Onion. Thank you for sharing a lovely caring card. (Bernie was one of my first supporters...and has become a great 'email buddy'. She's a doll.)

    This is a sweet gorgeous card, Di, that Bernie will treasure. This is such a wonderful community. It's nice to see how everyone has rallied around Bernie and to know that if any of us needed a posse, one would be ponied up in no time!! It's like having a net under all of us.
