A flower - just for you

I've been looking at this little LOTV pre-coloured image on my desk for weeks now - time to use her:
Sigh, now matter how I tried, the lovely embossed butterflies on the frame wouldn't show up in the photo - the gold sentiment ain't doing too good either :(

I used:

- 6" x 6" square white card stock

- backing papers from a Tatty Teddy pad called 'Spring Chic' - I love that these are printed on both sides with some left plain colours, so easy to mix and match

- LOTV image which I popped behind a Craftwork Cards pre-cut and embossed frame (with those invisible butterflies on). So that the little bow would fit OK I just fussy cut round the top of it so it peeps over the frame. To make room for the mauve organza bow I trimmed both sides off the frame

- sentiment is by Craftwork Cards too

- just a few mauve pearls - job done!

One reason I love this image is that it reminds me of our Playground playmates - when they're on good behaviour :)

Today Sam (Hettie) and I are meeting up with Maureen (ScrappyMo) for the day - first stop is a craft shop and then lunch, before trotting off to Highclere Castle of 'Downton Abbey' fame. It promises to be fun ........... if they have swings :)

You have made a real beauty Di. Such a gorgeous image and everything you've done perfectly compliments her.
Oh so jealous - have a lovely day and give my best wishes to Mo and Sam!
Not sure who amongst us looks this angelic - they remind me more of the St Trinian's mob lol! Karen x

Oooops .. Sorry Di forgot to thank you for your lovely comment about my Son's music. He is going to love reading what people have written.

I got carried away thinking of the mayhem that could ensue if there are no swings on your outing!! LOL!!

Thanks again.

Beautiful card Di. LOVE LOTV images, but afraid this one is WAAAAAY too angelic for any Snippet Playmate, especially the infamous Mrs A!

Well . . . I'm sure if there are no swings to be found at Highclere . . . you'll find Sam and Mo running around the ramparts somewhere or chasing ducks near a pond . . . or SOMETHING! GOOD LUCK!

Hugs to all,

Really lovely sweet card, love the layout and it is a pity that the butterflies don't show up on the photo, I would have loved to have seen them!
Hope that you had a fabulous day and steered clear of any trouble.?

Hello Di, lovely card ... I thought that was a butterfly in her hair until I read your explanation. How nice for you and Sam to be meeting up with Maureen. I know she will have loved the craft shop, goes without saying, but I bet she was more than excited to be going to 'Downtown Abbey' :)) Hugs, Elizabeth xx
