Sad news for our friend Maggie

I know that lots of you who hop in here know Maggie - aka SilverCrafter. Maggie is a regular on both WOYWW and in the Snippets Playground.

I just found this, posted by Maggie on Facebook in the early hours of this morning:

Take time throughout your life to laugh and make good memories. In the end, they are what hold you together in the bad times. My wonderful husband died suddenly on Sunday, and my happy memories and all the wonderful tributes and memories are a great comfort. I am lucky to have incredible children and friends and we will get through. Do all you can to fill your lives with joy from the simple things of life. If anyone tries to put you down or upset you, remember that they are not as lucky as you. xx

Sending sympathy and thoughts to Maggie and her family. Geoff was a much loved husband, father and Grandad - he'll be sorely missed.

Maggie is always so generous with her time and advice - I know that crafting and blogging will be far from her mind right now but if you do happen to read this Maggie, we'll still all be here waiting to welcome you back with open arms our dear blogging friend and snippets playmate.

Love

Di

Oh Di this is such sad news. I know death is one of the few things in life we can be sure of but there is never a good time and it always happens far too soon. Sending lots of love Maggie's way.

What terrible and sad new for Maggie and her family. She has comment moderation enabled on her blog so I also left her a comment there, it won't get published unless she chooses too.

Sending hugs,
Brenda

Such a lovely post Di. What a shock for Maggie and her family to lose Geoff so suddenly.
The photograph you have included is really beautiful and most apt on behalf of her blog companions. Thanks.

This is very sad news indeed...I do not know Maggie well but always found her to be so helpful if you ever had a question or two.
Prayers here for Maggie and her whole family as they cope with this sudden loss.

Oh dear, I am so sorry to read this. I didn't 'know' Maggie personally, but she recently was so kind to take the time to send me some instructions for a technique I have totally loved trying. My heart goes out to Maggie & her family. If someone could provide an address, I'd like to send a "Sympathy" card. (I understand if addresses are kept private...but if there is a way to let Maggie know my thoughts are with her, I'd like to do so!) Thanks. (again, you think would it be ok to post it HERE?)
