A card for Lyn

A lot of us know Lyn (aka Spyder), who creates some fab digi images, has a great blog and is also very humorous. Sadly her Dad passed away during the week so I sent this card to her yesterday:
I used:

- A6 white card stock

- green card from the snippets folder

- white layer embossed used a Sizzix 'Corner, Flower vine' embossing folder

- sentiment stamped using Whispers pens then die cut with Labels 8 Nestie - the stamp (and the embossing folder) came from hols. The stamp is made by American Art Stamp - looks like the code is GRS20.G

- vine leaves die cut using a mini vines leaves die

It's been a really tough year for Lyn and family - and no doubt lots of us are thinking of her and hoping that the sun will shine again soon for them all.

ps Little Sam broke his leg yesterday so I will be hunting out wide legged trousers this morning. :-( and he only twisted his leg whilst he was crawling!

  12. Hi Di,

Oh, so sorry to hear about Lyn's dad. Your card is beautiful and I'm sure she'll appreciate your thoughtfullness.

I brought my netbook up with me to CO because I knew I'd have time to check in. My friend isn't doing so well and doesn't have the strength to do much so we're mostly hanging out at her home. Katie did well on the trip but will give her a benadryl to calm her down a bit for the return. Should be picking up Poppy on Monday!

    Hugs,'
    Kay
