Last weekend at LOTV

As already said, last weekend I was away on a school reunion on the outskirts of Leeds. Had a fabulous time but one of the real highlights for me was a trip to the Lili of the Valley (LOTV) showroom/shop in Farsley (15 minutes from the hotel) on the Friday morning before all the celebrations got under way later that afternoon.

Talk about being in Seventh Heaven - and all the more so as a Playmate came along to meet up and play as well! That's our Kath of 'Plain and Simple'. Yay! What a lovely lady, exactly as I imagined her to be. We shopped a bit and then (as places to spend time over a light lunch or coffee are thin on the ground nearby) Lisa at LOTV was sweet enough to welcome us to stay on so the three of us spent ages at a table tucked in the corner, sitting with coffees having a jolly good natter.

I don't have a photo of Kath and I together, we're both a bit camera shy it turns out, so we dithered about and never did get a photo taken. It was just wonderful to finally meet up in real life!

But, I did take a couple of photos of the LOTV shop and their fabulous displays though - well worth a visit if you're ever in the area as the samples alone are just amazing! Lucy - you would have been in your element!

What's really nice to hear is that the LOTV peeps are as nice as they've always seemed to be, and really lovely you got to meet up with a playmate too: actually I think that is the fact that I am most jealous of! Have a great weekend xxx

  18. Indeed, what a highlight this would be! Thank you for sharing, Di! Although I do think you ladies shouldn't be camera shy any longer! I think you are both beautiful ladies and I would have loved to have seen you arm-in-arm!! When I come to visit, there will lots of photos being taken so fair warning!! Hugs, Darnell
