Less is More - Week 214 - Yellow and Green Colour Challenge

The current challenge over at Less is More is a colour challenge - the Spring colours of
YELLOW and GREEN

I moved more towards Summer with this card:
I used:

- A6 white card blank

- snippets of SU green card stock (Old Olive) for matting and layering

- white card stock, one has the stamped image on which is from SU's Sale-a-bration 'A Happy Thing' stamp set. Stamped using Memento 'Tuxedo Black' ink and then coloured with just four different Pro Markers before being die cut using a Lil'Inkers 'Stitched Rectangle' die

- the sentiment was originally going to be 'When life hands you lemons - make lemonade' - but I quite like this version! Just produced on my laptop using the 'Purisa' font and then printed onto white card

I'm gonna say it, so get your groans in  right now - 'easy-peasy, lemon squeezy' :)

  16. Love the quote, Di - after all, who wants lemonade when they can have tequila? Lol! Great card, too. Thanks for your lovely comment, and I have to laugh because Beatrice has the knack of winning everybody over and even non-cat people love her! She's a real little character. She and my hubby simply adore one another. She can be happily settled on my lap, fast asleep, or enjoying a nice cuddle, but if she hears my hubby coming she's off me like a jack in a box and straight to him! A bit galling sometimes lol! Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and good wishes for my upcoming surgery this time next week.
