Flutter by butterfly

Sitting playing the other day, I came across a Penny Black Stickeroo that triggered off an idea. A quick rootle through my patterned papers and embossing folders confirmed my thoughts:
I wanted to use the image to go across two different backgrounds, yet for the surround to the image still to stand out.

I used:

- 5" x 7" white card stock

- Penny Black Stickeroo from the 'Mauve Twilight' sheet

- burgundy backing card, both as a full backing and also behind the image, which I'd already mounted onto a piece of white card

- patterned paper from a real little lucky dip selection, sent to me by Kay - I love playing with these papers and you never know what you're gonna find :)

- white card embossed using a Cuttlebug 'Script' folder

Then I left it well alone!

  6. Hello Di,

Beautiful card, as always! Believe it or not it's supposed to get cold here (again). Last week we had a few snow flurries. I'm so ready to get out in my garden and get dirt under my nails but will have to wait a bit longer....

    Hi to Len.

    Hugs,
