I know someone who is a Nutella (chocolate and hazelnut spread) fan - in fact more than one person :) Tried it for myself last week and hated it - way too sickly and had to run and brush my teeth twice to get rid of the taste. But, Grand daughter Livi in Germany adores it:
Trust me, I felt just like she looks after my tasting but without the smile :( ACK!
But there again, I love Marmite and that's a love or hate thing - this is one for Annie's Friday Smile!

What a cutie! I don't know what Nutella is (but I think it's in the US). I read about Marmite, but again, no idea what it tastes like. Obviously the little one loved it!! Must be an age thing with maybe the sweets????
ReplyDeleteWe all love nutella-but It must be original from Italy-njami.
ReplyDeleteYour grand douther is such a little pretty girl and her smile is so sweet.
Have a lovely weekend
Tamara
I am with you, Di. Umbrella is just too much these days, and I love Marmite. I remember,as a child, having toast with proper beef dripping (home made) and Marmite. Scrummy! For those who don't know about Marmite, Vegemite from Australia is a weaker version. Hope you don't have too much snow, and have a good week. xx Maggie
ReplyDeleteI love them both but now I am diabetic I stick to the marmite. One of my sons used to live on nutella and then one day he announced he didn't like it, and he never ate it again! Kate x
ReplyDeleteWhaaaaaaaat??????? You DON'T like Nutella? Never speak to me again!
ReplyDeleteLOL!
xxxx
Ah .. .. just had to laugh when I saw this. What a fabulous smile.
ReplyDeleteI used to work opposite where they make Marmite. Nice to eat but not so nice to smell in the air .. .. some days were worse than others LOL!!!
Have a good weekend.
Love Jules xx
I just read what my Kindle put - umbrella should have been Nutella. Predictive text has a lot to answer for. Our family get together is officially off as they have even more snow that we do. Still, at least they are safe and warm. xx Maggie
ReplyDeletesuper photo, both are really an acquired taste lol

ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU SO MUCH for the card, which arrived bang on the right day. I was SO touched. It was perfect. I put a picture of it on my blog, too.
Never tried the Nutella stuff and don't want to but do love Marmite.
ReplyDeleteIn Austalia way back they tried putting one called Parwill on the market but had to remove it after complaints!!! So my Mother tells me.
Hugs Mrs A.
What a little cutie and a fabulous smile looks like she is really tucking in and enjoying every bite.

Hi Di, Nutella must have been around for decades because my daughter loved it when she was little and she's 42 this year! From one Marmite lover to another, Nutella is not to my taste either but I believe it's actually quite nutritious - it's the secondary proteins in peanuts that make it so. And we all know chocolate is good for us too :) I'm off to bed now too - with a hot water bottle - it's Baltic up here. Hugs, Elizabeth xx
ReplyDeleteWell, you know where you can send the rest of the jar, if there is any left of course!!
