....that's the current challenge theme over at Less is More this week:
I used:
- A6 white card stock with corners rounded
- a snippet of brown card, with a slightly textured pattern, die cut with a decorative edged Nestie and then the centre die cut with a smaller plain oval Nestie to form the frame
- a Penny Black Stickeroo from the 'Flower Festival' sheet (just for you Kate)
- sentiment stamped using a stamp from Hero Arts 'Live Life' set and Brilliance 'Mediterranean Blue' ink
Job done, it had to be a fairly quick make yesterday due to a backlog of ironing screaming at me :(

sO LOVELY,
ReplyDeleteHUGS TAMARA
I wanted to say NICE JUGS just for the effect, but as there's only ONE jug, it rather ruined it! ~Sighs~
ReplyDeleteMorning Di, Gorgeous card your so good at these LIM Challenges your image and frame is beautiful ....enjoy your day and have a lovely weekend "Weather Permitting" xx
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Jug there Miss!
ReplyDeleteI see you did not feel kind enough to do my ironing for me!! Hurumpf!
xx
I hope you've sent Sarn off into the corner for cheekiness Di! I love your die cut frame and it sets the single jug - yes SINGLE jug Sarn! - off nicely! I can't help feeling that you need to invest in a large pair of headphones to drown out the sound of your ironing! Vicky x
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card... love how you used the frame theme. Thanks for joining us this week

Lovely card - great use of the teeny Stickeroo. Just discovered that my local craft shop has rolls of Stickeroos in stock ... how tempting is that!!! Hugs, Elizabeth xx
ReplyDeletePS: really like that Hero Arts stamp too.
I love the simplicity of this card, so effective. I don't have any Nesties as yet, so I need to get my Cameo out to cut some of these shapes and do without the embossing bit. I store my Splodge mat in its bag underneath my craft mat so I always know where it is and can grab it quickly. I reckon we will need sou'westers in the playground this week, or I will bring the boat and the canoe. Can I have some help to blow them up, and to rig the sails? You can all have a go. Seriously, off now to get the bread out of the oven - smells yummy. xx Maggie
ReplyDeleteHello to you too. Lovely stickeroo and goes so well in the frame.

Lovely card...
ReplyDeleteI so love one aspect of DH's retirement...No ironing.
I had to iron a new shirt, dress pants every day. Sometimes 2 sets if he had a meeting late in the day as he was famous for spilling something at lunch...oh how I don't miss the ironing! teehee
Simply elegant..what you do with those PB stickers...combined with your nesties - great card. Blue sentiment sets it off very nicely too. I keep reading about that Splodge mat...and wonder if it's like the Ranger non-stick craft mat that's big in the US. What you think???TFS a beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteI love those simple sentiments.
ReplyDeleteI don't iron. ANYthing. I mean it.
When we first moved in together, we discovered that neither of us knew how to iron a shirt. HE said, well someone had better learn, then.
I said, ok, YOU learn, as you are the one that wears shirts.
To date, he goes to work in unironed shirts.
Very nice Miss. Too cold to play out today even though I had me thermals on and a hot water bottle strapped to me middle. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteFab! I couldn't think of a single thing for this challenge!
