Am making some Birthday cards for Rach, a bloggy friend. Her son Dan raises funds for the RNLI and Rach is selling cards to help out, through her hairdresser:
I used:
- 6" x 6" square white card stock
- image (pre-coloured) by LOTV from their 'Mice are Nice' set. The detail on these little images is so cute when you look closely, love the little mouse wearing a flower head as a hat! I have a couple of LOTV stamps the same size and just can't trust myself to have a go at stamping and colouring all the detail. One day though :)
- green backing card is SU's 'Wild Wasabi' and the pink backing card came from the snippets folder
- main patterned paper is from the lovely selection that Kay recently sent to me, the other is a little snippet of SU card from the snippets folder
- sentiment by Craftwork Cards, backed with a circle of pink card which was punched using a SU circular punch
- lemon ribbon from Hobbycraft and a little matching bow tied round the ribbon strip
Another one for the box Rach :)

Aw, these meecies are SO cute! I love those LOTV things. Hope they will have another 'free shipping' one of these days. You've done a lovely job, and your backing paper is so pretty. At first I thought it was an Impression Obsession Cover a Card stamping...looks like one of their stamps. It's really pretty, and how sweet of Miss Kay to send it along. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteYou had me having the vapours there Miss.. I thought you had coloured em using a magnifying glass!! They are gorgeous. Took me a while to work out yer morse code too.

Beautiful card and the image is wonderful, got to love those pre-coloured images!
ReplyDeleteThe RNLI is one of the charities we always support, along with the Air Ambulance and Guide Dogs. I am sure those needed will soon find a good home. Thank you for your visit and I am glad to find others who feel the same about Mothering Sunday. I also used to print and emboss the sentiment on the front of the cards to get the words right. Hope to get to the playground this week. xx Maggie
ReplyDeleteFabulous card Di. Love these cute little meeces.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend.

Heh Di, thanks so much for the mention and your hard work at a time when l know you're a busy girlie.
ReplyDeleteBut.....this card may not make the hairdressers, l may have to put a pound in the pot for this one. I ❤ it, the colours are so pretty and the meece's are very sweet.
With the level of quality and prettiness of your cards, l may just be broke lol
Thanks again honey, have a good weekend and have some 'you' time.
Big hugs xx
I bet this card will have no problems selling, such a cute image! Gotta love those pre-colored images! What a wonderful reason to craft!
