A few Easter cards

In between baking and other 'housewifely things' yesterday I made a little batch of Easter cards, all quite similar, using more Stickeroos.

Everything is perfectly straight on the cards, I took these photos in a rush before the natural light went last night and only just realised that they look a bit barrel shaped!

I used:

- 7" x 5" white card stock

- Penny Black Stickeroos - 'Wherever they Grow'

- plain backing card from SU's Subtles Collection

- sentiments stamped using the same subtles SU ink spots colours, love how well the inks match the card

- ribbons from the ribbon box

- Josy Rose nail heads

Yippee, I switched to the new Blogger interface after reading that it's being made mandatory sometime this month, and am flying along quite happily using it - after peeking at it ages ago and running away!

Tuesday's Tale will follow - once I've written something down :)

  1. Gosh Di those Stickeroos are lovely and you sure know how to use them. These cards are fabulous.
I am terrified of bloggers up coming changes. I don't like change. Hope my late night UK tech support will be round if I need help.

  8. Great cards Di, the stickeroos seem to be a great way to make quick cards, may have to invest. I have switched over to the new blogger interface too, don't like it as much as the older interface, but as we won't have an option soon I am just going to learn to live with it.

  11. Hi Di, love your Stickeroo cards - lovely colours and perfect for Easter. My Stickeroos have arrived, I just need to find the time and the inspiration to do something with them. I've switched to the new Blogger interface and have been managing fine though I can't think why it was necessary, I was perfectly happy with the old one :( Off to read your Tuesday tale -I could do with a giggle :) Elizabeth x

  12. Really beautiful cards Di and quite CAS so the images and sentiment stand out so well, love them.
Well hope the playground gates are wide open tomorrow, can't do with having to climb over gates or fences or hop about on a pogo stick but I will be using a PB stickeroo and I am going to use it for PB at Allsort entry and it is a simple card.

  13. Di, these cards are lovely, and you've used the stickers so well. I just realized Easter is _this_ wkend, not the next, so I have to scurry and get some cards finished/made. You've given me a great idea with the stickers to get some made a bit faster. Thanks for sharing.

  16. Really? Changes to Blogger? Well, kicking and screaming I'm sure I'll be there one day. Great cards! The Stickeroos are very lovely and don't distract at all (like some stickers can). Great quickie cards. Thanks for sharing them!
