As you can see, I can't draw for toffee - but the wording makes me smile a bit.
I used:
- 6" x 6" square white card
- computer printed wording directly onto the card - you surely didn't expect me to write THAT free hand as well?!
- mouse (yup, it IS meant to be a mouse), cheese and little paw prints were hand drawn/doodled
The mouse and paw prints are a throw back to my 'doodling in lessons' days at school - the wording is how my pal Helena always signs off her emails :)
I'm off to stand in the corner now!
Friday Feast will follow, again, just as soon as I find the recipe which is buried on my desk.

Hi Di
ReplyDeleteIf it makes you feel any better .. I wouldn't be able to draw the cheese let alone a mouse!!!
I can't even draw a heart I like!! LOL!!!
So you can tell I am well impressed with your drawing skills and I love the little paw prints!!
Have a great day and a lovely weekend.
Love Jules xx
I think it is cute Di, not tried doodling except like you during lessons or boring lectures. Hugs, Amanda x
ReplyDeleteSo cute Di. He's a fat little mouse so I guess he has already been at the cheese! I doodle when I am on the phone, but nothing recognizable. Well done. Kate x
ReplyDeleteAwww, love this. Poor little first mouse.

Di, I think that is great drawing and it certainly looks like a mouse, all be that he has large feet but those are so he can wear clogs to clip-clippety-clop on the stairs! Right???
ReplyDeleteLove the card and sentiment :)
Take care Rach xx
Fabulous card Di ,, no shame in this !! the mouse is adorable and the cheese and paw prints are fab ! you did a brilliant job with the doodling !! :-)

Anyone who attempts to "draw" their card is a winner! Love your cute mouse and cheese..and the quote!
ReplyDeleteA really fun card. Love the quote, well done with the drawing.
ReplyDeleteYour drawing is far better than mine would be, a very impressive card for the challenge, Di. My writing was computer generated as I cannot possibly write it freehand either. I like the look of that Pork and pasta recipe too, even though there are a lot of pots and pans involved. thank you for sharing it with us. xx Maggie
ReplyDeleteDi, l think you have done a brilliant job on your doodling and great for the challenge:)x
ReplyDeleteIt must be late, it took me a while to get the sentiment... but I got there in the end...it is funny!
ReplyDeleteCute card too.
Thanks so much
Chrissie
