So, in recognition of the fact that I hear the swings have been wrecked by a runaway digger-dumper truck, driven by one who has a 'hooter horn' and directed by a few other scallywags but mentioning no names, this is being shipped from Taos over the coming weeks:
Of course I have to work out the logistics of shipping - DHL took one look and said 'Dun you worry about nuffin'' - which of course
If you wanna join in the Playground and keep using up those snippets - the Playground is open all week and will close on Saturday 22nd September at noon, UK time. I'll be settled back home and hope to manage a roll call. I thank you most kindly for your patience :)
Mr Linky is below as usual.
Di - and a little 'I'm baaaaack' hug to you all.......whilst tottering round here feeling like 'a limp dishcloth with jet lag' - not a pretty sight.
The only conditions to playing nicely in the Snippet Playground are that your card (or anything else you wish to bring here to show) must be made by using up snippets (card, paper, lace and ribbon are all fine), and a link back to here in your own blog posting will mean that you'll be included in the Weekly Roll Call. Oh, and no nipping or hair pulling of course :)
So good to have you back home safe and sound, Di! I've enjoyed your traveling posts and getting to "meet" Kay!ReplyDelete
You're the best, thinking of us while you were away and of our need for new play equipment. High D. Hoe, it looks sooo fun!! Glad you didn't puncture your elbows on that fence!!
Well, that's fine for the chooks...but what about us?? I still think we need a swimming pool complete with palm thatched bar from which we can sip exotic cocktails!!ReplyDelete
Well it is fabulous but I think a word of caution is called for, no good spending too much money if the Government doesn't back down on selling off some of the playing area's, this could be one that they have their beady eye's on.ReplyDelete
Big welcome home Di.
Welcome home Di! Your 'letters from America' have been great but it's nice to have you back. Now, whilst that is a very impressive treehouse, I'm not sure you have to have it sent all the way from the US of A - we have one just as impressive here in Ayr so I'm guessing they are available in any good playground emporium over here. In the meantime, could you consider LLJ's suggestion - of course it would need a roof and to be heated, these old bones don't do outdoor pools any more :)) Look forward to seeing all the crafting goodies brought back, just when you're rested and back to GMT, of course. Hugs, Elizabeth xxReplyDelete
Great to have you back, Di! We need to talk to the construction team and show them this tree house: http://www.alnwickgarden.com/explore/whats-here/the-treehouseReplyDelete
complete with potting shed bar on the top. You could probably fit a sauna in one of those too!
Great to see you back, Di - hope you had a super time. (We're back from Eastbourne and I'm still feeling rotten - no change there then - lol!). Love the treehouse - can't get the image of Len and his reaction out of my head!! Hope you have a good week. xReplyDelete
Oooh fabby playground stuff here. I will definitely enjoy climbing and sliding on this. Yippeeee and a Wheeeeeeee from me!ReplyDelete
Aren't we all a little too young for cocktails by the pool? Oh, I see, NON-alcoholic ones only! Okay!
Hope your jet lag wears off soon. Good to have you home safe n sound. Dun you worry bout nuffin!
Oh wow can't beleive l am first in the playground.....lol So nice to know your back Di and glad you enjoyed yourself as your photo's showed during the time you was away and hopefully your going to share some of your lovely goodies on your amazing cards .......enjoy your day hopefully not too shattered with the traveling:) xReplyDelete
Hi Di, Me again pleased ignore the 1st card as Mr Linky was too quick for me to add my new entry and its added the last one.....lol xxReplyDelete
Welcome back Di! Looks like you had an amazing time, hope you did!ReplyDelete
So glad you made it back home. AND, you've managed to do more posts than me! I'm so impressed!
I did make it to the zentangle class but Lee wasn't in it. The class she took was on Friday during the day (and unfortuantely I had to work). I'll be writing a post about it in the near future.
Kay (miss you......)
Woohoo!!! Can't wait for this to be shipped over. I will empty my pennies in my moneybox to help pay for the transportation if that will help. There was 37p in there last time I counted!!ReplyDelete
As for Sandra saying non-alcoholic cocktails???!! Nah!! Sloe Comfortable Nails would be great, but we must all keep our clothes well and truly ON!!
Hi Miss DiReplyDelete
Sounds like you have had a brilliant break.
Love Jules xx
Have just been reading about your travels over a cuppa! What a fabulous holiday! Hope reality doesn't come as too much of a shock to you and that you're having lots of fun back in the craft room with all your fun goodies from over the pond. xxReplyDelete
Glad to see you are back. Getting myself ready to supervise the chook pad construction. we just need to decide where to put it. Well away from those ducks methinks. Hugs Mrs A.ReplyDelete
Just needed a snippet big enough for a fat little spider, but thought of you when I punched it. The playground is looking good.ReplyDelete
Glad to see you home safe and sound Di, sure that jetlag will disappear soon.ReplyDelete
Great swing set and bet as it's us girls putting to together, there won't be any of those spare screws left over as there usually is with the men folk!
Big hugs xx
I just did a boo boo, Di, and re-entered the last card again. Take it out if you can. I redid it and I think have the right one in there.ReplyDelete
Squeezing in at the last minute but finally produced a snippets card!ReplyDelete
I might get one in for the ponygirl as well...trying to pack for a crop but she has a lovely little ballerina that she worked so hard to colour.
I guess I had better just get that post done for her and get it over here.
See ya later.
Night Owl here just swooping in at the last minute. I say its very quite in the playground not even a mouse stirring!!! Hugs Mrs A. @ 4.43am.ReplyDelete
I'm with Mrs. A....I'm swooping too. Boy I made it in just before the gates closed! I'll be back in the morning to see what everyone's up to. Welcome home.ReplyDelete
