A late Tuesday Tale - literally flying high

Why does it always happen to me?!

About halfway over the Atlantic I trotted off to the aircraft loo - lovely smooth flight up to that point. No sooner had I shut the door behind me and all hell broke loose - it was like being on a bucking bronco as we hit really violent and unexpected turbulence and I think if the eyes hadn't been tightly closed in fear this would have been the view:
What a roller coaster of a ride, seemed to go on forever too. When the turbulence subsided I opened the loo door and staggered back out - in full view of several rows of passengers, with my eyes wide by now, hair all over the place and (being me) giggling helplessly. A ripple of laughter rang out from them followed a couple of cheers - they'd obviously realised what the scene must have been like in said loo. Len was also doubled up laughing needless to say.

I resisted the urge to comment along the lines of 'Sheesh, sorry about that folks, beans in salad never does agree with me :)

LOL! Love the comments--mile high club, dress in the knickers... oh my! I hope you are having fun in the land of entrapment. I mean ENCHANTMENT! Dang! I never can get that right. Swing by my mum's house and give her a hello, wouldya? She's on my case to come visit.

Oh, Diana, what are we going to do with you!! You are such a great writer! I could just see you coming out and what a relief that everyone applauded your entertainment! Everyone needs a dose of Diana halfway across the Atlantic (but so glad you didn't get hurt, especially that you didn't throw your back out)!!

Now I'm afraid to read on ...
