For baby

As I said in yesterday's Sunday snippets post, our playmate Victoria just had a baby girl. I made this card from all of us in the Playground, assisted by Parsnip of course:
I kept it simple and stuck to a Stampin' Up image as Victoria was my SU demonstrator, before the pitter patter of tiny feet became imminent.

I used:

- 4" x 4" square white card blank

- stamp from SU's 'Easy Events' set, stamped using SU's 'Smoky Grey' and coloured with Whispers pens before die cutting using a Nesties circle die

- popped the image onto a Nesties scalloped circle, die cut from a snippet of SU's 'Rose Red' card stock

Easy peasy lemon squeezy - those little SU stamps are really lovely to use!

Did you take your inspiration from all those ducks swimming in the puddles in the playground?!?!?

    Have a good week.

    Just off to Victoria now!

  17. What a sweet and simple little baby duck. There's no better way to welcome a new wee one (well, okay I suppose diamond encrusted tiara might be nice but it is a bit excessive....).
