Time for another fortnightly challenge over at Cuttlebug Mania - and this time the theme is 'Welcome Spring'. Very apt as it's 1st March today! WHITE RABBITS!!
You do have to use a manual die cutting/embossing machine for Cuttlebug Mania entries (it
doesn't need to be a Cuttlebug but it must be manual, not electronic). And, you can't mix the two, it must be all
manual please. Then make your
entry, link into the challenge, link to the challenge in your own blog
post and and make sure that you also say what products you used for any
die cutting/embossing.
Our sponsor is Crafty Individuals and they're offering a lovely prize of two beautiful stamps and this is the card I made:
I used:
- 4.25" x 5.75" white card blank (made to just leave a little white border around the yellow embossed layer)
- the embossed panel was made using a piece of yellow Core'dinations card stock and a Cuttlebug 'Pinking Stitch' embossing folder
- the image is a pre-coloured one from the sadly discontinued 'Set 3 - Wild Flowers' Art Pad by LOTV, die cut using a die from the Lil' Inkers 'Stitched Rectangles' set
- then I stamped 'With Love' using a LOTV stamp from their 'General Greetings - Small' set and Memento ''London Fog' ink pad onto a corner of the image panel
- glued it all together and called it a day
The card is made absolutely straight, but the photographer wasn't lined up properly :)
Spring is certainly on the way here, loads of bulbs are in flower and the evenings are getting lighter thank goodness. Why not make a snippets entry with the theme of Spring - making sure you do some manual machine embossing/die cutting of course - then you can enter both at the same time :)

Lovely card and such a cheerful spring image. It's a shame they discontinued the pads as they were so handy. Cara x
