Totally quick and easy - and obviously influenced by all the beautiful turquoise and sort of 'honeycomb' colours we saw whilst away - the vibrant colours and light in NM are just fabulous:)
I used:
- 2.75" x 4.75" white card stock (ie, a small DL card)
- Craftwork Cards oval image, coloured with Pro Markers
- Craftwork Cards scalloped oval
- stamped 'Elzybells' sentiment using 'Memento 'Tuxedo Black' ink pad
- a couple of embossed lines down either side of the card
All done - off to bed now.............and the main oval is a deffo bit off-centre to the scalloped one I'm afraid. But a blind cowboy on a galloping horse probably wouldn't really notice, or even care :) ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz,,,,,,,,zonk!

It gives it perspective don't you know. Love those little houses. I'm making a slightly larger one now. Hugs Mrs A. From my iPad in a Premier Inn somewhere in England.Night night. Sleep tight.
ReplyDeleteI am sure the recipient would be too polite to say anything IF they actually notice. Lovely card Honey and Welcome Back.
ReplyDeleteHasn't Mrs A gone posh with an iPad!! Is the Treehouse good enough for her?
LOL!

Oh you are too funny...no one but a card maker would notice and they would have to have very exacting eyes at that!
ReplyDeleteWas that you dropping off?? LOL!
ReplyDeleteSweet little card, you can't go wrong with those caramel colours...yum :)
Well it was still made with love, so no-one can complain! I love the colours you used.

Hello Di,
ReplyDeleteLove this card! Yes, I can see the New Mexico influence in your card. Today I posted the two sympathy cards I made using the stamp each of us bought, along with the embossing folder. Not quite an oval, otherwise I might enter one of them in the contest (never have done that before).
Hugs, Kay
It's fabulous Di. Doubt anyone would have notice if you hasn't mentioned it. We crafters are to hard on ourselves at times.
ReplyDeleteHope you rest up and have a wonderful week.
Hugs

Wow you are on the ball, takes me ages to get back into crafting if I have been away, even for a few days.
ReplyDeleteGreat new home card, love the image and you shouldn't have mentioned the off centre as no-one would have noticed but if it is for a non-crafter then they won't notice it either.
Well you are the only other person alive, that I have come across, using the variation on the expression I know as 'a blind man on a galloping horse could spot the difference'. Me, you and my Mother are the only ones I have ever know using it. I once put it on my blog to describe an error and I think people thought I had made it up myself.
Another oldie but a goodie, that you may recall, regarding the shapness of knives, is the expression you could ride bare bottom to London on this and not feel a thing.
Glad to have you back.

Swell card, and I'm likin' the Southwestern influence on your colors. Very clean & elegant card. So glad you had a grand time, and arrived home safely. We missed you. Hugs.
