Not a lot of activity when I took this photo yesterday afternoon:
The usual cup of black coffee, gone cold. Cards awaiting inserts at the back. Penny Black Stickaroos (my almost latest love) on the glass cutting mat. And my very latest loves - lots of SU stamp sets awaiting their first inking :)
But, right now, crafting is taking a back seat as I'm currently packing 620+ school association newsletters to post off, about 100 go overseas, and that's a lot of labels and stamps to stick on! The trouser alterations were finished last week just so I could take over the dining room table as the 'packing production line'! And you thought that Len scared me into it :))
For more scintillating desks - hop over here to Julia's - be warned though, it's addictive snooping! You can begin with Julia's desk and the avalanche of buttons.
Wow, I linked in at number 16 this week :)
Happy WOYWW!
Di

Question is if you pan out and take a photo will the desk shot still be as tidy!!!

Is that a computer monitor or TV in the background? I think I see a mouse, but not sure. Happy WOYWW from #3.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely space!
ReplyDeleteCoffee, ahem, I actually "lost" a cup of coffee in my work area, and didn't find it until it had mold growing on top.
True story!

Hi Di Your tidy desk awaits your return. I am involved in a fundraising launch for my sons Gymnastic Club and we have just been sending out newsletters and invites and the like. I would recommend you try Mail Chimp. No paper, no envelopes, no postage. You do have to get to grips with setting up a few things but I am on my third campaign and it is easy peasy now. I would recommend it. Happy WOYWW from Helen 111

Now that's a lovely desk. I know I've said it recently but I'm in the market for some more of those PB Stickeroos but haven't been to a craft shop yet to get some (too busy!). Love all you new SU sets, did you win the lottery or what! I work full time and can't afford SU!!! And I think you could do with another pair of scissors! Good luck with the newsletters, hope you don't get too many paper cuts!

ReplyDeleteIt is a very tidy space, but also sounds very productive. I am glad to hear that I am not the only one whose coffee goes cold before I am done. dani42

Mmm, enlarged photo to take a closer look, mostly at the stickeroo's, I don't recognise them so they must be newish, must investigate.
ReplyDeleteRather worried about the number of pairs of scissors you have, for one who is prone to cutting her fringe.
I have lost my small pair of SU scissors and I really liked them for paper piecing, I have no idea where they are, searched craftroom from top to bottom.
Very neat desk.
Hope you are wading through the school flyers.

Hi Di what a neat desk you have. I too have lots of new SU stamps as yet unused. HAve not joined in this week with WOYWW as life has got in the way a bit. May not make it into the playground yet either. Thanks for sharing Anne x
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful tidy desk, Di! Lots of luck with all the labels and stamps.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the snoop today. I've probably said it before but I will have to have a search for those Stickaroos as you are so stuck on them :) Nice pile of SU stamp sets - have you been to an SU party and succumbed to temptation :)) Elizabeth x #145
ReplyDeleteHappy stamping!! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
ReplyDeleteI love Stickeroo’s too Di, especially the Christmas ones they do. Great for when you need a card in a hurry too, as they don’t need very much else added.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the production line but you’d better get them in the post before it goes up. Can’t believe that 2nd class is going to be 50p….it’s not surprising that people aren’t using the post these days.
Happy Crafting!

You were quick off the mark this week Di. I did manage to get mine posted for once, but I had to come back today to do some commenting. Good luck with licking all those envelopes. Kate x
ReplyDeleteI love your Piglet mug, Di. You look as though you have lots of new goodies to play with once the more important things have been done. Bet you're glad those newsletters have been posted before the cost of stamps go up aren't you!!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW

What a perfectly organized desk...I think you'd rather be playing than packing newsletters. Oh well, I guess sometimes we have to sit quietly and do our homework.... then we can head to the playground and swing.... have fun with the homework.
ReplyDeleteThat made me giggle...glad I'm not the only one who always lets her drink go cold on the craft desk!!
ReplyDeleteSophie no.183
Your desk looks very organised and lots to play with. Ali x # 182
ReplyDeleteHiya Di
ReplyDeletenow that is a very neat and tidy desk - one that you have clearly properly cleaned - it's not a happy accident!!
Di, has your glass cutting mat got any scratches in it because mine is really scratched - really beyond what it should be. Mine is the x-cut one.
Hope you've no blisters from folding and stuffing envelopes - and more to the point, you didn't have to lick the envelopes...
love and hugz
