Reduced service in the Playground

Hi folks

Just to let you know things here ain't too grand on the vision front so commenting and crafting has had to take a back seat.

An old eye problem has flared up, which means blurred vision and pain in the affected eye, constant tears running down my cheek and basically I look like Len punched me in my left eye. Hey, what? Maybe he did?

In truth it's a virus from the same herpes simplex family which gives folk those cold sores - only sometimes it diverts down the nerve into the eye and causes ulcers on the cornea - and yes, it's very painful and just rotten luck.

Been to hospital, got medication which usually works and  will be blogging ASAP. But am planning to take it easy for a few days if needs be. Be good and play nicely!

You take care of that eye...Vision is everything. Blogging is a hobby, and so is the Playground. Let Parsnip do full duty. LOve your cute little graphic. Yes, no ironing comes in the category of resting your eye. Listen to nice music & relax. Big hugs coming your way too. Hope you feel better REAL soon.

That sounds really miserable, especially if it stops your crafting. Crafting usually helps us through everything else!
Hope I clears up very quickly.

Oh my goodness I certainly hope this clears up very quickly.
In fact it sounds very much like the problem Chris has with his left eye that was brought on after his stroke.
Now is that image Captain Pugwash, or Black Pig but me really thinks it is Blind Pugh!!!!

You take care of those eyes. They are more important than our blogs! I hope it clears up soon. I know how painful the cold sores are on lips as I was very prone to them and accompanying ulcers as a child, but I am sure one on your eye is a lot more painful. Lets hope it is all better for Christmas. Hugs. Kate x

Oh dear, Di! Hope you are feeling a bit better, and I am so sorry I am late getting over here. Working extra, and holiday chores are cutting into my crafty time. Mend quickly, please.

Not at all fun! Cats get that too. It usually reduces their life expectancy so be glad you're not a cat! I mean after all, who wants to eat uncooked mouse guts?!

Hope your eye gets better real soon!
