Less is More - Mwah, mwah, mwah

The current challenge over at Less is More is to use three of something on your card:

I used:

- A6 white card blank

- stamp by Stampabilities called 'Kiss', stamped three times using SU's 'Real Red' - I deliberately tried to make the three 'pucker marks' slightly different 'cos that's how they would be in real life ..... ask me how I know :)

- there are double embossed lines above and below the 'mwahs' - but I ran round the house three times trying different places to take the photo and sort of gave up in exhaustion in the end

- the sentiment is from the LOTV 'Small Greetings' set, stamped using Memento 'Tuxedo Black'

Not sure if it's me but a lot of Less is More entries are becoming a bit more than less - can't be picked up for that with this one though :) In fact it was almost embarrassingly quick and easy to make.

I did giggle, my 'in-house critic' said 'Well, who could that be for?' as he often does when I've made a card. I smartly replied that I'd keep it for him for next Valentine's Day, so he had to forget about it and act surprised next February 14th :)

  12. Good answer for OH Di!
CAS is defined differently by different people, but LIM has always been very clear about needing "white space" on your creation, which this card does to prefection.
Thanks so much for joining us at LIM

  13. I'm sorry I was MIA as far as commenting was concerned during my recent holiday in Australia, but hopefully I'll now be back up to speed once more!
This is fabulous Di, I really love those lips. I'm always commenting about the need for white space on submissions... but no probs here... love it!
    Thanks so much

  16. The Less is More getting to be less less reminds me of that Take 10 magazine, which was to showcase cards you could make in under 10 minutes. Nowadays I doubt you could even assemble the cards in under 10 minutes if you had directions and all the pieces right in front of you.

Anyway, love the CAS card. *mwah* to you too!!

  18. Love it! Love your critic's assessment of it as well. He's very quick on the uptake, yes? It's bright, colorful in the motif design, and says what needs saying. Very simply, very cleanly and just real cute! TFS

  19. This is gorgeous Di and perfect for LIM. It is funny to read what you say about the LIM challenge.
I saw one of the cards that was a top pick recently and to say I was somewhat gob smacked is an understatement. It was/is a beautiful card but it had a lot on it! Have a lovely weekend, have just put my final entry for Snippets in this week, and looking forward to playing with my lovely templates this weekend Karen x

  20. What a brilliant card Di! Much amused by hubby's remark and feel you were very restrained. "I haven't decided yet..." would keep him on his toes lol! Vicky x
