My lovely buddy Sarn has recently really caught my eye by adding 'tabs' to her cards. A great way to just add that finishing touch - and also to use up snippets. This card really made me giggle yesterday over at Sarn's - just look at how Daisy the cow wrote the sentiment with her tail!
So here's my take on using a couple of tabs:
I used:
- A6 white card blank
- the pre-coloured image is from a Little Claire sheet of toppers called 'Garden Shelves', cut down with a Nesties oval die
- aubergine card from the snippets folder, embossed using a Quickutz folder called 'Flowers'
- the little tabs were made using snippets of SU's 'Certainly Celery' and white card stock and SU punches
- flowers were punched from the sliver of aubergine card stock I had left and just topped with a white pearl on each
Love how those tabs work - thanks again for the inspiration Sarn!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Di. Flowers complimented perfectly by the tabs.
ReplyDeleteThis may well be 'the time of the Sarn tab' I'll certainly be incorporating some!
As Dragon says, the word "Sarntab" may become a regular addition to cardmakers everywhere in blogland! Fab card you have here too
