Blue Sympathy card

The husband of a lovely friend sadly collapsed and died at work on the Thursday just before the Jubilee weekend. Helen said something that perhaps we should remember in the hurly-burly of everyday life:  'just embrace this and every day because you just don't know what might be coming to bite you on the bum !!'

This card is winging its way to her:

I used:

- 7" x 5" white card stock

- pale blue backing card

- image stamped in SU's 'Bashful Blue' using Penny Black's 'Letters and Flowers' stamp

- sentiment also stamped in SU's 'Bashful Blue' using a stamp from SU's 'Sincere Salutations' set, punched out using SU's 'Decorative Label' punch and just touched round the edges with 'Bashful Blue'

- tiny little punched butterflies, with a little pearl on each

  16. Such a soft gentle card. You're right that you never know what's around the next corner. That's my excuse for not cleaning house. Wouldn't it be embarrassing to die while cleaning house?!

"So what was she doing when she collapsed?"

    "Dusting."
