Magazine 'freebies'

This month's 'Quick Cards Made Easy' came with some Kaisercraft papers and embellishments:
 I used:

- 6" x 6" square white card blank

- patterned paper and the rose embellishment by Kaisercraft, free with QCME magazine

- SU's 'Tangerine Tango' plain card stock, behind the patterned paper and also used for a scalloped die cut oval behind the rose embellishment

- a snippet of tangerine ribbon, carefully kept from where it was tied round the top of a cello bag of 'Christmas spice and tangerine peel' pot pourri - the house smells gorgeous :)

Another quick and easy make.

  5. Another beautiful card Di. Only today I considered buying that magazine because of the freebie but rejected it (because of the drawer full of magazine freebies) and now I'm regretting my decision - the paper and die-cut are so pretty and the colours are fab. And the Tangerine Tango makes for a super layer and topper. Hugs, Elizabeth

  9. Very pretty. I used to always feel like I was cheating when I used those pre-made card toppers, but dang, that's what they are made for.
