Quick and easy card today

Whilst rootling round in my box of ready stamped images I came across one image, stamped in black and then embossed on a plain white background. Ping! On went a little light bulb and out came the Tim Holtz Distress Inks and a duster brush. Sure enough, the DI covered the background but left the image still crisp and clear.
Then I just layered it onto black and KanBan African Gold card in the most lush sunset/burned earth colour - on 7" x 5" cream card stock.

All card came from the snippets folder - but I can't really enter the challenge and I already have an idea for tomorrow's card, when I'll also do the first roll call of this week in the Snippets Playground. I'm totally delighted by how many playmates have turned up this week too - what a lovely lot you are!

  9. Hi Di,
I'm just wondering when you sleep? Seems with everything you do you surely have more than 24 hours in a day?!?'

I took the Cuttlebug out of the box but was having difficulty. So, watched some You Tube videos and now I'm surfing blogs. Need to get back to the kitchen table to try my Cuttlebug again!!

    Hugs,
    Kay

  10. Fabulous card Di, I need to learn how to use the dusters, yet another thing I have had for ages and not really got round to having a go with. I am on a crafting diet at the moment.
