Health warning - get your sunglasses ready

As is so often the case, I procrastinate about trying something new for ages - and then wonder why I didn't take the plunge sooner. This time it's washi tape:
I used:

 - 6" x 6" square white card stock, with the opposite corners rounded

 - a piece of approx. 4" x 4" square card from the snippets folder and a few lines of washi tape (you didn't for one minute expect me not to buy pink did you!) - just placed diagonally across the piece of card and then the opposite corners rounded

- sentiment is by Craftwork Cards

 - butterfly die cut using a snippet of purple card, Joy! crafts 'Vintage Flourishes Butterfly' die 6003/0023. Black pearls added down the body

And that was it, a very quick little play and job done. Oooh, I can think of tons of other ways to use washi tape - ha, just watch, it'll go out of style now!

    I love this card, Di. I have lots of washi tape which I use mostly for scrapping but I think you've created a great way of using it on cards and love the shape too - very different. Hugs, Elizabeth xx

    Looks great...I finally do have a few colours which I have mainly used to scrapbook Little Mr P...so lots of primary colour type tapes.
    I recently picked up a few more girly ones...so think I will give this a go when I am home from you know where.

    Lovely! We all need a bit of colour in our lives. I haven't gathered much washi tape yet, and what I have got I have never used! So I don't think I'll be trying this one. Kate x

    Lovely, bright, fun card Di. Think l have some washi tape in the craft cupboard that came free with a magazine but haven't dared to realise it from its packaging lol

    Oh, Di, look at you with the Washi! Your card is not too bright for me and it's wonderfully CASlicious!! Welcome aboard this trend. Even if it goes out of style, which I doubt with all the companies invested in inventory, but even if it does, you can count on me using it on my cards for totally ever! xxoo Darnell
