The Wedding card that was made too late

Sigh, I had all the goodies lined up to make a Wedding card for Annie's daughter Michelle and her new husband Brent. Then time wasn't on my side so I picked another ready made favourite from my little stock of cards - and even forgot to send THAT one 'til the other day. However, I still went ahead and made this - the hot pink is 'cos I'd already sussed that the Wedding theme was bright and happy pink:
I used:

- 6" x 6" square petal edged card stock

- butterfly organza ribbon which I bought when we had the WOYWW lunch party at Jan's a few weeks ago

- hot pink ribbon from the ribbon box

- white self-adhesive ribbon, complete with bow and diamantes, from Hobbycraft

- sentiment by Craftwork Cards

- hot pink and clear diamantes along the petal edge

That's my offering for today - hope your weekend is going well!

  5. That's very pretty Di. I love the butterflies. I didn't realise they were on ribbon until I read the post again! It's nice to see someone moving away from the traditional colours for a wedding.

  11. Really sweet card, delicious bow and the hint of pink is lovely.

I am shattered, I've rowed, cycled, ran, long jumped and swam, taking me all the little bit of energy I have left to leave comments.

  12. The Doc suggested we have a nice icecream as a night cap so we called into the local icecream parlour. As there was a queue The Doc looked for a seat for me to sit on and having spotted a bench over the road directed me to sit on it and wait for him. Would have been ok but this particular bench is how best to be described as the girls of the night pick up point! Cue the carabinari pulling up along side and giving me the once over. Honestly do I look like a call girl? On second thoughts don't answer that one. I didn't think it was a good idea to try a spot of bum pinching so score is still nil par. Hugs Mrs A.
