I already had the germ of an idea after making my snippets card for this last Sunday's Snippets Playground - where you can win a Woodware punch the same as I used on my card, plus another one shaped like a darling little house. Just make a snippets card and come around to play. This is what I made for Less is More:
I used:
- 4" x 4" square white card blank
- snippet of black card stock, measuring 2" x 1.5"
- two snippets of metallic linen effect card stock, one gold and one silver, punched using the Woodware 'Jigsaw' punch (approx. 1" at the longest part) and the two pieces interlocked and stuck onto the black oblong piece of card
- sentiment from SU's 'A Word for You' stamp set, stamped using Memento 'Tuxedo Black' ink
After the thinking process, this was (obviously) made in a jiffy :)

What a fabulous idea Di and the pieces in gold and silver against the black stand out beautifully. With a slightly different sentiment this would work for an engagement, wedding or anniversary card. x
