RIP Scooter

A lovely friend, Helena, has just lost her cat - Scooter by name and he was heading for 20 years old. Like all of us would be, she's pretty devastated and I made this to send:
I used:

- A6 white linen card stock

- SU's 'Simply Soft' stamp set - coloured onto the stamps with Whispers pens

- SU's sentiment stamp from the 'Sincere Salutations' set - again using a Whispers pen. I might be wrong but have a feeling this set is being retired, yet it's one I turn to time and again and am sure it will be missed :(

- teeny little punched butterflies, from a snippet, topped with peach coloured pearls

It's true what they say, our pets take a little piece of our hearts with them when they go to the Rainbow Bridge :(  RIP Scooter.

Hi Di

What a gorgeous card to send to your friend. She will be very touched I'm sure.

Love the image and colours very much.

Hope you are back on track after all your gadding about and have caught up with your sleep.

Such a lovely card Di, I'm sure it'll help your friend to know you are thinking of her. It's very sad when you loose a companion that has been around for so long, friends come and go in that time but pets remain loyal and devoted.

Have a great weekend. The light is better up North now so l assume from that, you have reduced your washing mountain lol

Take care xx

Lovely card there Di. My heart goes out to your friend at this sad time. Not a cat lover but it still hurts when you lose your pets.

This is where I fall short, a friend of mine lost her dog a few weeks back and I never thought to send her a card. Well done you both for the card and the kind thought.

Hi there Di - this is really sweet and I feel sure your friend will love it. We lost three of ours this year and are both still upset about it. I personally think you are very very kind and understanding to do this for her.

Hugs to you Sue Pxxx
