Blogging problems

Ooopsie, I accidentally published the 3rd rewrite of the Snippets Playground post for this coming Sunday! Luckily I spotted it immediately and changed the date pronto. What a palaver I've been going through trying to sort out a load of rogue HTML - which reappeared as fast as I deleted it!

Sorry to publish accidentally - I was in such a tizz I forgot my own golden rule - always put the publication date and time in before setting to and writing a post!

Friday and the weekend beckons! Have fun - I will, now that things seem to be finally sorted out!

  1. Bwahahahahahahaaha. I was convinced Wednesday was Thursday and Thursday was Friday so I am easily willing to believe today is Sunday and tomorrow is my day off. Hugz

  2. I had to be up early for an appointment so don't even ask me what day it is. Glad you spotted it in time so to speak. I have done that even when I think I have already scheduled it and then find I haven't. Hugs Mrs A.

    1. You have no idea what a mess my Sunday blog post got into - right as I'd finished all the hard work of inserting photos etc. Could have wept Jenny - it's sorted now but I do think it may well have been blogger playing up as much as anything I was adding in! Sigh. x

  6. Haha, I tell myself t *always* put the date and time of a scheduled post in first.... however I don't always remember to click the "done" button that saves it! Glad you rescued it and didn't spoil the surprises.

  7. I've done it a myself but now always add the publish date before I even write the title as I've got my DT posts in draft form for the rest of the year and don't want to let the cat out of the bag with themes!

    1. When you're playing with three different versions of a post and also trying not to weep - it's hard Kath! My usual practice is also to always to put a scheduled date in before beginning to write anything in a post - but this time I was too busy juggling a barrel load of wet slippery fish! :) x

  8. I think it has happened to most of us :)

  9. Oh well, at least you didn't put the fish food in the freezer... No idea how I managed that when the tub lives next to the tank and the freezer is in a different room!

  10. Oh, Di, big hugs! It's sounds like you were in a jumble. I didn't see the boo-boo, but we've all done it so no harm, no foul! It just makes you seem more normal and not like the super human Pixie Workshop mastermind that you are!! Love, Darnell
