Rudolph Day April 2014 and Merry Monday

It's Rudolph Day over at Sarn's until the end of the month, plus I made the card to fit in with the current Merry Monday Christmas Challenge which is 'Decorative Christmas Words' :
And to prove I made three all the same, 'cos Sarn wants at least two cards for your entry:
I used:

- DL white card blank

- Penny Black image called 'Duck-Noel', stamped in Memento 'Tuxedo Black and coloured with Pro Markers to match the backing card. Gotta love those duckies:)

- patterned background card, probably Kan Ban

- plain SU card layered behind the image - 'Cajun Craze' and 'Daffodil Delight'

The Penny Black stamp was on my wish list for absolutely ages, finally tracked one down a couple of months ago :)

  21. Aw luva duck or two or even three!! Certainly rained here a lot today. The Doc has been checking water levels constantly. The pond at the bottom of the garden has over flowed and the shingle outside the back door was floating at one stage . Like levitation. Spooky it was!!. Talking of spooky. We were at the tea table last night and the cat flap banged from Wimpy coming in through it. I looked at The doc and he said yep I heard it too and got up and checked. Now that flap has been locked and closed for the last 6 weeks and still was. The next spookiness was that The Doc admitted to hearing it going before and I have too but didn't tell im cos I didn't wanna be trussed up in a straight jacket!!! Hugs Mrs a.

  23. p.s. I only have a grand calibur cos the andle flew of me bigshot last yr. I had bought it second hand (the big shot that is) off ebay 4 yrs ago so it had served its job especially as I had cut all the wedding roses using it.
If I hold the handle on the spindle whilst turning it still works so I keeps it for emergencies like. The only thing worth burgalising round here is the rats!!!!
    Hugs Mrs A.

  33. I'm late, I'm late! But well worth the wait to see these cute little duckies with each one holding his/(or her) own festive letter. You know I love those PB ducks! They are just darling. Love the colors you chose, and WTG at making 3. You must have quite a CC stash built up by now. Hoping all is well in your world, and will be back to visit the Playground folks, soon as I finish up at Rudy's! TFS & Hugs
