- A5 white card blank
- LOTV pre-coloured image from the 'Furry Christmas' art pad, just trimmed down to fit behind the frame
- the red frame was a freebie with a recent order from 'Dies to Die For'. I've had a little scout to find out more and it's called 'Joy Photo Card Frame' and seems to be a new die from MFT/Die-namics. They also do a landscape one with 'Merry' as the word, both dies are 4" x 5.25", the link above will take you right there. I reckon you could carefully slice the letters off and have a very nice plain frame too for all sorts of uses.
- the white and red starry paper is from Fizzy Moon's 'Festive Fun' paper pack
- matt red mirri card
- red ribbon with silver holly leaves on to cover the join in the paper, am sure this came from Germany a couple of years ago
- I didn't add any sparkle, for some reason I liked the plainness of the image as it is
It's Halloween of course, and this year I haven't made any Halloween cards at all - shame on me. I guess we're less 'into it' here in the UK. But, no doubt this evening we'll have up to a couple of hours worth of little visitors at the door so we'll at least be putting out some Halloween decorations and a lit pumpkin - with the box of treats to hand :)

The black and white with the red is stunning, visually stunning. It doesn't need anything else. We don't get many trick or treaters which with my RA is a blessing, I never know what to do with the Halloween cards I have to make for challenges - might try to find some use for them lol!
ReplyDeleteLovely dies but out of my range - you could do this with card, a ruler with a metal edge, a blade and alphabet stickers/die cuts - now there's an idea for me to try xx

ReplyDeleteI finally made my Halloween cards,,,just have to write the blog post and take the photos...
Just ame in from putting up the decorations outside. I kept it really simple this year as my arthritis is really flared up in my hands, wrists and knees.
The weather has changed here.
We had heavy mists in the mornings lasting till almost lunchtime and you could feel the damp int he air.
Hopefully, once it gets colder, my joints will settle down. Typing is the worst...
this is definitely NOT plain! He does look a lot like Mr. P for sure. Great use of this so super cute image. Lovely card, and that ribbon is a Wow-er with this little cutie. Our T or Treaters come tomorrow night. The little'ns are cute, but we get some that look as though they should be employed! Still, it's a fun night for the little ones. Hugs & TFS

It's lovely to see Parsnip having fun in the snow and it's great to see some backing papers that are really Christmas re - think I need to get some of those x

ReplyDeleteLove this card - such a cute image. Looking at your ribbon, if you have a Wilkinsons store near you, they have a fab selection of ribbons and raffia and tapes, plus some wood mounted little stamps with a homespun feel. I may be going back in there armed with my £1 coins. Lynn x

ReplyDeleteI like the sound of those frames. Your portrait of Parsnip in the snow is a cutie. Never heard of doing that in the snow.( Would probably have gotten told off for doing it anyways)
