Cute as a button

Quick card today seeing as the Snippets Playground roll call is looming:
I love every single element in the set bought from QVC a while ago called 'Special Moments'. It's brilliant for quick cards and the only personal twist here was to add a pearl button from my goodies, with an embroidery thread bow tied through it.

I used:

- 6" x 6" square white card stock

- 'Cute as a button' gingham backing card, contrasting strip, layered image and sentiment

- button with an embroidery thread bow

I made two at the same time - two more cards for the St. Luke's Hospice box :)

Today's recipe for 'Rumblethumps' is below - I know, unusual name but a really good dish for cooler days. Ha! That's why I made it this week, for goodness sakes - the weather is still generally pretty dire.

  2. Got so carried away with the food post forgot to leave a comment here. I wish I had bought these cuties when QVC had them cos they were way more expensive to but singly. I bought a set of stamps recently that uses two of them and they are fab. Gorgeous card and I am sure if will fly out of the door. Hugs, Amanda x
