Jump for Joy

This weeks' challenge over at Less Is More - Week 79 is to use GREEN and BLUE. For once, inspiration came quickly:
I used:

- DL white card stock

- Penny Black's image 'Jump for Joy', coloured with green and blue Pro Markers

- SU's  'Marina Mist' card behind the image as a little frame

- Elzybells sentiment (stamped using SU's 'Marina Mist') from the 'Jump for Joy' set which has some adorable sheep images in

Done and dusted, I love it when a plan comes together :) How strange that both the PB stamp and the Elzybells set are both called 'Jump for Joy' too.

At my buddy Sarn's suggestion, I'm also entering this into this week's Casology challenge - Week 5, which is 'Pond'. Thanks Sarn!

Yay, we raced through the envelope stuffing job yesterday - I'm sure it took the two of us just a third of the time it normally takes me, whereas I expected it would just halve the time :)

  1. Simple but sweet card today!

Sometimes doing a project with a best bud goes a lot faster because you don't get demotivated halfway through when you realize exactly HOW MANY of whatever it is you STILL have left to do. Hate that feeling! Of course, on the flip side, that plan sometimes backfires and the two of you are so busy chattering away that it takes the same or even longer than doing it by yourself. LOL

  6. I've got that frog stamp. He's lovely isn't he. A nice simple card. I wish I could make them. I just don't do all that white space, but I love it when everyone else does!

  7. So glad the envelope stuffing went well. Love the image on this card Di...thats just how I looked last night cos we had all our family here for the evening....yes ALL 5 of the little ones too! Every inch of the floor was covered with kids and toys and we all sat to watch the profesional wedding photos, displayed on the telly, that arrived just before the family got here.....lots of laughter, smiles and happy tears.......bliss

  17. Hello Di, lovely humorous card. I'd normally cross a road to avoid a frog but these crafty ones are cute. Good luck with the challenges. Hugs, Elizabeth.

PS: You and Sarn seem to be in the same froggy phase today :)

PPS: I got the wax paper from The Fruit Pixie - http://www.thefruitpixie.co.uk/wax-paper-555-c.asp
