No card today - life is very busy right now and other things are taking the place of crafting, sigh.
But, I've written a lot here lately about the hedgehogs - and Len has done his very best to capture them on camera for you. His quest will continue for sure.
Recently I wrote about them forming an 'orderly queue/line' and am sure some of you perhaps thought I was 'over-egging the pudding'. I don't blame you at all but what comes next, captured on camera, proves that we're not totally barking mad.
THIS popped up on the overnight CCTV between Monday and Tuesday:
I'm sorry that it's horribly hazy - it's due to the CCTV plus me cropping it so you can see them, All three in a line, one at the bowl feeding and two behind, the one nearest the camera was gonna have a bit of a wait I think!
Bit like the Harrods Sales really :)
Aw, so sweet - I'd no idea hedgehogs were so British about things!
ReplyDeleteHa, ha. Spot on there Jane. X
DeleteLen has taken such brilliant photos of your little hedgehog visitors, but it must be lovely to be able to capture on CCTV what they're up to when you're not there. I had to smile when I read Jane's comment! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely orderly queue - thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous Di - they really are quite characters aren't they!

Haha! This made me giggle. I used to spend hours watching the hedgehogs in my last house. They were very noisy and so entertaining, coming right down the lawn to feed and one even coming into the house. Lovely to see your friendly visitors.

How sweet, they obviously have their own pecking order and the cctv has captured them beautifully Di. x
ReplyDelete:D Fun habit! :D There is a boss that goes first?
ReplyDeleteOh yes Alice! The biggest one goes first - always. In fact, just after this bit of footage, all three had a bit of a fight. Len only told me that this morning as he didn't want to spoil my idea of them playing nicely all the time :) x
DeleteAww . . . so cute and, like Jane says, so BRITISH! xxx
ReplyDeleteSo cute! xoxo
ReplyDeleteWho knew! Very cute.
ReplyDeleteOh my, how adorable are these little hedgies?!! I love that Len is getting them on film. I love that you guys have them! lol Are their quills sharp??? We have the porcupine, but you don't want to go trying to touch them! I guess most wild animals have a pecking order, including the little hedgies. So cute! Thank Len for us-we are loving these little guys! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteYes, their spines/quills are fairly sharp Brenda. Over the years we've rescued a few who were either sick or too small to get through Winter hibernation. There's a hedgehog sanctuary who then look after them. So that's the only time we touch them and we wear thick gardening gloves. I think porcupine quills will still be a lot sharper though. Di x
DeleteMy photo of the two i took hasn't turned out any good. The Doc had volunteered to climb down in the ditch and move the undergrowth they were hiding under buI said no leave them be. When we walked back 5 mins later they had moved on.!! Lens photos are corkers . Bit like Piccadilly circus her right now too.hugs

Ha Ha how sweet so great that you was able to capture them at there best xx
ReplyDeleteWho didn't believe you? Lemme at 'em! Of course we believed you, Di, but it's wonderful to see them in the queue anyway! I was going to say "sweetly" in the queue, but Len has now advised that they are in line after being chastised by The Cheese in Charge! However it happened, this is the cutest photo ever!! TFS and I hope life slows down a bit for you soon so you can get back to having some beloved crafty time! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteHahaha that's too funny Di, word has obviously got out where the good grub is ;)
ReplyDeleteOh they are so cute!
ReplyDeleteI have frogs in my garden :D
hugs
The hedgies are adorable Di, TFS Cathy x
ReplyDeleteOOoh, how I love this! Wish I could see them in real!
ReplyDeleteLia xx
oh this is sooo sweet, TYFS x
ReplyDeleteI adore what you did with this set, Di, and it does take me back to the Beatles era. Ah, lots of fond California memories from the psychedelic flowers! I do believe I'm going to play along and toss my hat into the prize ring this time. :-D I should have a card posted in a few more hours.
