A touch of sunshine

I literally had about 10 minutes craft play the other day (if you don't include drying time) and rustled this up:
I used:

- a snippet of SU's 'Daffodil Delight' card stock to make the small card blank (it's about 3.75" square)

- black backing card, die cut using a Spellbinders square die

- a snippet of water colour card, sprinkled with little touches of lemon, yellow and orange Brushos, then lightly misted with water and left to dry

- a cone flower stamp which came free with Craft Stamper magazine, stamped using Memento 'Tuxedo Black' ink pad - then I die cut the whole Brusho'd square, again using a Spellbinders square die

- three black round glossy Josy Rose nail heads

Job done :)

  2. Splendid! Just splendid. Love what you are doing with those Brushos, and I've been trying to find them in the USA. Most places I've been able to get a hit, will show out of stock. These made a fab background for your dramatic flower. A beautiful card, Miss! TFS & Hugs

  13. Hi Di,
    beautiful card.
Love the fab Brusho paint effect background, and the black stamped image.
Now I am going to look at these paints if I can find them as I have seen yours and Sarn"s beautiful creations, and have never heard of them.
So I feel I'm lagging behind somewhat.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
