It's a tooth. It reminds me of when I was little our puppy was chewing playfully on my arm and his little baby tooth came out kinda stuck to my arm. It didn't hurt but it made me start crying because I thought I had done something to the poor little fella. Oh the things we think when we're little. [Bunny]`
Hi Janis That's a UK penny, reverse side. Our Queen's head is on one side and the side you can see has a portcullis on. A portcullis is a gate which was raised and lowered using chains at either side at Castle entrances in years gone by. This design apparently changed on the coin about 10 years ago to something more modern.

ReplyDeleteOh... his bite will be less painful when these sharp little slivers are all out. Until then, don't be surprised to find them in unusual places.
